We offer programs for all levels programmed by Team MDUSA coaches including Coach Glenn Pendlay and Coach Don McCauley both of whom have reached Level 5 USAW coaching status. Each of them has experience coaching nationally ranked athletes, championship teams, and International level athletes.
Our convenient Train with Us programming application has workout logging, tracking, statistics, exercise video reference database, exclusive blog and message board. All programs can easily be accessed from any computer, smart phone, or mobile device.

There you will find a variety of programs from athletes training full time for Olympic Weightlifting to athletes that want to incorporate Olympic Weightlifting into their workout programming. Choose from our Team MDUSA or Pendlay training programs.
Team MDUSA programming will follow strength cycles to prepare the athlete for the National stage. This Olympic weightlifting program will have tapering for the athletes as they prepare to go into US Senior Nationals, the American Open, and the Arnold Classic.
- Team MDUSA Elite - This program is for advanced athletes dedicated to full-time training and includes nine workouts per week. This program features the same workouts as the full-time training athletes on Team MDUSA, which includes many of our Nation’s top athletes. Join this program and also see how you stack up against Team MDUSA athletes on the MDUSA Elite leaderboard.
- Team MDUSA Advanced - This program features the same program as Team MDUSA but is scaled down to five workouts per week for an advanced lifter that is not able to train full-time.
The Pendlay Training Programs are crafted for the athlete who works or is in school full-time. These programs are geared to the athlete that is focusing on learning and progressing in the sport of weightlifting or is adding Olympic weightlifting to their current training regiment.
- The Pendlay WOD – This program is for the intermediate lifting athlete that is confident in their lifting technique. This program has five workouts per week and can be integrated into a program for an athlete that is training in another sport or is looking to pair Olympic weightlifting with their MetCon workouts.
-The Pendlay Progressive Program – This is a three workout per week program that is perfect for the intermediate or beginner lifter that has now started to become more confident in their lifts. This program is perfect for the athlete who has reached a sticking point on either their squats or progress with increases in their lifts. This program will help you break through the plateau and get your lifting to the next level.
- The Pendlay Starter Program – This program is perfect for the novice lifter that is just starting in Olympic weightlifting and is not yet comfortable with their lifts. This program will help the athlete develop their skill level while increasing strength. This is the perfect program for the athlete that has just completed the Team MDUSA Athlete Level 1 course and now is ready to implement their new lifting knowledge in to a training protocol.
