Team MDUSA Weightlifting Athlete Level 1 Seminar - This course will be a two-day, 12 hour course, dedicated to teaching the athlete and/coach the basic warm-up exercises, drills and weightlifting techniques to prepare the athlete for and to perform the Olympic Weightlifting competition lifts; the Snatch and the Clean and the Split Jerk. This MDUSA course will be taught mainly by hands-on instruction with only a short introductory lecture and intermittent instructional lectures prior to each hands-on training session. This MDUSA course is designed for the Beginner to Intermediate athlete/coach to learn, practice and become proficient in the basic lifts used in incorporating the Olympic Lifts into any overall training program. This program is taught by Team MDUSA Members.

Team MDUSA Weightlifting Athlete Level 2 Seminar - This course will be a two-day, 12 hour course, reviewing with the athlete/coach basic warm-up exercises, most specific drills, aides and weightlifting techniques to prepare them for both performing and achieving a basic knowledge of how to coach the Olympic Weightlifting competition lifts; the Snatch and the Clean and the Split Jerk. It will also cover the techniques of and performance of the various Olympic style assistance lifts such as the Snatch Pull, Clean Pull, Snatch Deadlift, Clean Deadlift, Power Snatch, Power Clean, Hang Snatch, Hang Clean, Block Snatch, Block Clean and there use in different athletic programs in which the Olympic lifts are the core. Additionally, this course will touch on basic periodization programming and variations. This MDUSA course is designed to further the general knowledge of the athlete/coach who has taken the MDUSA Level 1 course and is seeking a higher level of proficiency and overall technical expertise in the Olympic lifts. This program is taught by MDUSA Coaches and Team Members.

Team MDUSA Weightlifting Coach Level 1 Seminar - This course will be a two-day, 12 hour course, for those who have taken the MDUSA Athlete Level 1 and 2 (or Pendlay Level 1 & 2) courses and wish to pursue a career in which you will have the ability to coach athletes in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. This course, as all MDUSA Olympic Weightlifting courses, will be taught mainly through hands-on instruction with short explanation periods throughout the day between lifting sessions. During this coaching course, you will learn by coaching each other along with MDUSA coaches. Participants will take part in coaching athletes in a mock competition from the preparation for competition to the actual participation in it.

Team MDUSA Weightlifting Coach Level 2 Seminar - The Level 2 Team MDUSA Coaches Seminar will give coaches the chance to learn from Team MDUSA coaches in an intimate setting. Participants will shadow Team MDUSA coaches for 1 week in a small group setting at the MDUSA headquarters in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Coaches will get the opportunity to observe and interact with coaching Team MDUSA. Attendees will get the chance to see all aspects of training with Team MDUSA including accessory lifting and injury prevention. This is a unique experience that will be tailored to the participants.
